The Bobrowiecka 8 office building won the prestigious Prime Property Prize 2018 competition in the category “Project of the Year – Office Space Market”. The building gained the greatest recognition of the award panel and readers of the propertynews.pl website. On behalf of the Investor the award was collected at an official gala event by Dariusz Sokołowski, the President of the Management Board of Spectra Development.
“It gives me great satisfaction to see that the project received this special award. The Bobrowiecka 8 office building is a unique place which offers not only top class office space, but also enables its users to directly experience Art with a capital A,” said Dariusz Sokołowski, the President of the Management Board of Spectra Development.
Bobrowiecka 8 comprises 25,000 m² of A-class office and retail space, which has already been commercialised in 70%. The existing tenants of office and retail space include CEDC International, Centrum Medyczne Gamma, the ENGIE Group, the Gastromall Group, Green Caffè Nero, NUTRICIA Polska, Roche Diagnostics Polska, Zdrofit fitness club chain and Żywiec Zdrój S.A. The office building offers numerous amenities, such as an excellent location and easy access, 501 parking spaces in a two-storey car park, bicycle stands and showers for cyclists. Spectra Development completed the project in October 2017 in just 18 months. The general contractor was Hochtief Polska.
The office building, with its timeless architecture, is characterised by advanced technological solutions, which guarantee the highest level of comfort at work. The project, together with adjacent buildings – the Bobrowiecka 6 office building and the Bobrowiecka 10 apartment building – is a part of an urban complex designed by JEMS Architekci design office, which in line with the designer’s concept creates a visually attractive, functional and spacious urban feature introducing a new quality in the district. Bobrowiecka 8 is an architectural gem of the Dolny Mokotów district, distinguished by the presence of art, unparalleled in Warsaw’s commercial property market. In accordance with our original concept of culture embedded in space, in cooperation with the Starak Family Foundation an exhibition of works of art by young Polish artists is presented in the office building.
“Bobrowiecka 8 is an architecturally well thought-out building, which apart from serving its primary office function is also used as a background for presenting contemporary art. I am very happy that the stylistically coherent office building that we designed was awarded a prize in such a prestigious competition,” said Olgierd Jagiełło from the JEMS Architekci design office.
The office building is located near the entry to the route leading to the Siekierkowski Bridge, thanks to which it has great connections with all Warsaw districts. Bobrowiecka 8 was built in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, BREEAM certification and building information modelling (BIM).
