The Bobrowiecka 8 office building has entered the next stage of the 9th edition of the ŻYCIE W ARCHITEKTURZE (Life in architecture) competition! The building was awarded in the category “Best Commercial Building in Poland in 2015-2019” and was one of the 21 nominees. This year marks the 9th edition of the competition, which is considered to be one of the top events in the architecture industry.

Bobrowiecka 8 was nominated for the award for “Best Commercial Building in Poland in 2015-2019”. The ŻYCIE W ARCHITEKTURZE competition is organised for the 9th time by the editorial department of the Architektura-murator monthly. The aim of the competition is to promote valuable urban architecture buildings constructed in the recent years and to draw architects’ attention to the role and significance of architecture in the life of urban agglomerations. In the 9th edition of ŻYCIE W ARCHITEKTURZE the judging panel will award prizes in seven categories: Best Public Utility Building, Best Commercial Building, Best Multi-Family Building, Best Single-Family Building, Best Public Space, Best Climate-Driven Design and Best Socially Responsible Building. Internet users will also cast their votes in a competition for Poland’s Favourite to be launched on 12 October 2020.
Bobrowiecka 8 comprises 25,000 m² of A-class office and service space, which has already been commercialised in almost 100%. Tenants of the office and service space include:
Barilla Poland, CEDC International, Centrum Medyczne Gamma, Chimney Poland, Danone Group, ENGIE Group, Evernex Polska, Future Electronics Polska, Green Caffè Nero, Hoogells Oleksiewicz Sznyrowska law firm, Olimp, OmniChip, ONE House, Polpharma and Polpharma Biologics companies, Roche Diagnostics Polska, Smart Jet, Synergio Group, Zdrofit fitness club. The office building offers numerous amenities, such as an excellent location and easy access, 501 parking spaces in a two-storey car park, bicycle stands and showers for cyclists. The investment, which was handed over for use in October 2017, was completed by Spectra Development in just 18 months. The general contractor was Hochtief Polska.
The office building, with its timeless architecture, is characterised by advanced technological solutions, which guarantee the highest level of comfort at work. The investment project, together with adjacent buildings – the Bobrowiecka 6 office building and the Bobrowiecka 10 apartment building – is a part of an urban complex designed by JEMS Architekci design office, which is in line with the designer’s concept and creates a visually attractive, functional and spacious urban feature introducing a new quality in the district. Bobrowiecka 8 is an architectural gem of the Dolny Mokotów district, distinguished by the presence of art, unparalleled in Warsaw’s commercial property market. According to the author’s concept of culture inscribed in space, in cooperation with the Rodzina Staraków Foundation, the works of young Polish artists are presented in the office building.
The office building is located near the entry to the route leading to the Siekierkowski Bridge, thanks to which it has great connections with all Warsaw districts. Bobrowiecka 8 was built in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, BREEAM certification and building information modelling (BIM).
